No way, according to the Senate, she has to tender a written apology before the senate before her suspension would be reduced. Otherwise, she serves her six months suspension and her office will be shut down, no receipt of salaries to her and her legislative staff during the duration. She must not be seen around the vicinity neither shall she appear in the media presenting herself as a senator.

 My thoughts: It is VERY likely Akpabio did make a at Akpoti. Akpabio is reputedly a womanizer. But without any concrete evidence.... this was always the outcome. I knew it would end in suspension. Ndume was one of the stalwarts in Saraki's Senate coup. He was sacrificed later by Saraki to appease Tinubu/Buhari... He went to pray and was removed as Senate Leader before he returned. Irrespective of what may have transpired b/w her and the SP privately; she should have been smart enough to separate it from her public/official responsibility. Once she enters the Senate chambers, she is bound by the rules of the chamber. To make matters worse, she went to submit a petition against the SP. She goofed on this one.
