So I just called the Port Harcourt wareshouse sales rep now to confirm the price, and what you posted is correct. Omo the price reduction is mad, 35k reduction in less than 2 weeks.

I bought that battery on the 18th of last month for 410k, even begged for 400k, they refused.

Now I understand what really happened to you. Next time you want to buy, go through their main office from Lagos. Let them be the ones to refer you to PH office. The price will be cheaper. If you go directly by yourself to the PH office they normally top up the price. I'm speaking from experience.

No, I called the same sales rep who sold it to me that day.

Attached is a chat with him.

Hmm. Correct me if I'm wrong but from this table, why won't I just get two 1.3Kwh 12v and in series ~2.6Kwh 24v @2x177k = 354,000
Instead of one 2.5Kwh 24v = 555,000

It will work. The only difference is in the quality of cell but based on the capacity test Dam5reey did on the 12.8v cworth its not bad for the price really. That's my opinion though. They used harvested cells of 120ah capacity with remainder capacity of 100ah if I still the details perfectly. Moreover, the other block types do.you know what is inside? If not for the person volunteering to do capacity test on the brands can we ascertain what is inside. We will all end up buying at ridiculous average market price.

I feel it will work if you're not drawing high current. These batteries may not have high specced BMS, but I really don't care about that since na home use not automotive.

Not true sir. I have been patronizing their warehouse for sometime now. What Dam5reey1 posted are their official prices as at Friday last week.
So you guys get better update like this and you keep am allow middlemen dey chop our eyes since. Most unfair is some people get personal update but would rather recommend these resellers to others - out of misplaced sense of loyalty or what? It's just wrong na. This is DIY not marketplace.

Jumia. Powmr 60A usually drops to around 85k at Flash Sales so watch out. I already bought like 4 for people previously. Also I don't know if UBA MasterCard discount is still on but that's another 7,500naira off.

Good evening guus in the house,

We had an installation of 8 solar s done with a 150V MPPT charge controller.
The installation is 4 solar s connected in series in two places and the 4 s connected in parallel to each other. Making a total of 8 solar s.

Each solar size = 250W
Voc of each = 37.4V

Total voltage just before the setup was connected to charge controller = 63V

My issue is that the output of the charge controller is very low as the current output from the charge controller is 12Amp at 11:00am. I was actually expecting at least 30Amp as that is peak period.

Please what could be the cause of such low output as the s are very good because the design was changed because of the introduction of MPPT. PWM was in use before upgrading to MPPT.

The diagram is as shown below

The one you bought for 103k is different. This one below I'm talking about is the more common older model.

JJacko: 3:03am On Mar 04
I stopped buying overpriced fixed voltage chargers tey tey.
Buck/Boost converters are cheaper and way more versatile. The 1200w below will realistically charge 24v @25A, 48v @15A e.t.c.
It has pin-out for fan, or you buy the 1500w/1800w models that have fan bundled.
Connection is not hard.

What are the VMP of the s? 63V is low if 4 are connected in series for a 250w 37V VOC.. you should have at least 100V+

Check each s individually one of them may have loosed connection or gone bad

You funny sha.
So you no longer bother about the cells used.
Who doesn't like cheap things? But a 2.5kwh for 375k that is supposed to worth say close to 550k? You cannot eat your cake and have it. You even said you don't care about the bms used that it depends on your output load. Wow!!! Congratulations ooo. Now Cworth is a DIY hmmm.

How did we get to this stage in the first place?
Back to your question, if a branded company in China can build 2.3kwh for 375k automatically I can build 4kwh for just 300k since the type of cell used doesn't matter. My joy and confidence is that you won't be bold enough to open it and complain. grin grin grin.

Cworth, Felicity etc are all DIYs right?
