I don't know how old he was then but that evil man was no young man consumed by crime as his lawyer would have us believe. The man set a terrible precedence for kidnapping of regular hardworking people with the 'kidnapper billionaire' name becoming a fancy title for criminals. Very wicked person whose crime has made it unsafe for regular people to enjoy their hard work and now, other criminals have taken How To Kidnap People 101 tutorial from his School of Hard Locks. If he was young and lost in crime, he wouldn't build a family and invest his money the way he did. It was intentional and calculated. No mercy for someone who steals sleep from other people. I know Nigerians have amnesia and love to pity people after sometime in the name of faux forgiveness but I'm very sure the families of those he kidnapped will not forget the pain he put them in. Lock him up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNICevN9xdg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zv9D11hRHLo 41 Likes 5 Shares |

Death is the most appropriate punishment for anyone who commits murder! There's no two ways about it. That's why sometimes I try to lean my towards jungle justice. Meanwhile, make una make sure say this Alaye no near computer with Internet sha.. Else fraud go for him charges.. 38 Likes 3 Shares |

papyjaypaul:very nice summary, it captures my thought process. He killed others in his kidnapping business and at least needs to spend considerable time in prison, at least 20 years before reviewing eligibility for parole. We must not insult the sensibilities of the victims and families of those victims sent to otherside of the world. 42 Likes 2 Shares |

Hmmm, I would prefer they free this man than NMK. But he too must die! Seems he's getting serious in prison! Let NMK too follow suit. 5 Likes |

“He was a young man consumed by crime, but he is now remorseful. Presently, he is a 200-level student of the National Open University." Evans na young man? How na? Releasing him would be an insult to the memories of those he killed. The best he should get is life sentence if the death penalty is to be discarded. ArinzeAnthony03:Arinze, Evans should be released on this premise? I am sure you would also advocate for the release of Rev. King. Are you guys for real? 6 Likes 1 Share |

Plea bargain from a kidnap kingpin? This is terrible. I can't believe what I just read here concerning FG giving him scholarship to run a program in prison. He can be reformed, but that does not mean the state should consider letting him off the hook. He should be prosecuted fully together with his other gang . Look at BH who feigned repentance, only to return to their trenches. Let nobody treat kidnapping with kid gloves.

Protect yourself at all costs, because the ones who cause you harm might one day be given a second chance to repent, live long, and enjoy the good things in life, while you may never get that same opportunity.

This man isn't just a kidnapper, he has killed many people from the stories we heard at the time of his arrest. And to reward him for his evil deeds, the evil people in leadership affairs saw it fit to not only spare his life like they did for killer bokoharams but give him chance many good people don't get from government to shine further in life just as killer bokoharams got rewards for killing thousands of innocent people. The question is, how do we prove to the youths that crimes is bad? 15 Likes 1 Share |

The case of Evans inspires other criminals like him to go into kidnapping since they are aware of how incompetent the Nigerian government is. Our government is a barking dog without teeth. The legal system in Nigeria is a complete farce. 4 Likes |
