I can imagine. However, if you still got time before resumption, you should not panic otherwise, kindly keep the school updated if resumption is very close. I am very sure you will get it in no time.

I just got a NSF mail now from UKvi. I'm.just tired, I I was actually expecting positive news

It is usually contained in the email you'll receive.
Stuffs like but not only limited to, employment letters, contracts, payslips, bank acct reflecting salary inflow, further studies, etc
It is usually what you should have, no fears!

Most came into the system through the health and care visa, which was the low hanging fruit (to even get the certificate of sponsorship for care jobs has even become very difficult) to switch to other sectors that also offer skilled worker visas is possible but most of the salary threshold to be eligible for it, is way higher and paying for the health insurance involved is not cheap!

Yes, the British Civil Service employ foreigners who they sponsor their skilled work visa...I work for a local government in Central London.

Not an nsf mail but received an email December 20th 2024 saying application cannot be processed within standard timeline (one day to the 15th working day) no additional documents were requested and I didn’t bother ing them since everyone here was saying wait
I tried calling them on January 9th 2025 but couldn’t connect so I did Paid email - January 9th 2025
Received a response almost two hours later saying a decision has been made but it cannot be disclosed via email
Success mail- January 10th 2025 at 12:07am

NB- many people here have stated previous visa refusal could be a reason for delay, I had 5 previous visa refusals, 3 from Canada(mind you I have siblings who schooled and live in Canada now) so my ties was always the issue, 1 from Ireland, 1 from USA and my school’s resumption is on January 20th.

Exact email I got on the 20th of December 2024, Bio was 3rd December 2024, To my little knowledge or understanding just allow 10- 15 working days your approval/ success email will be sent to you !... To everyone Waiting those approval mails are surely dropping soon .. Been a silent reader ... I appreciate everyone contributing to this thread... Credit to Justwise too for creating this great thread !

Received a " your application is being considered " mail on the 3rd of January after making a paid call on the 2nd of January
Then i received a " we are unable to process your application within published times" mail on the 7th of January after making a another paid call on the 6th to tell them about my last day of registration which was the 14th of January.
At this point I was confused and decided to send a mail to my school and they gave me till the end of the month for registration.
From what i have read here and from others, receiving the last mail meant I might be asked for additional documents or for an interview which I was expecting. I told God to please give me this approval as a birthday present yesterday night before I slept.

No additional document request
No interview

Woke up and saw the success mail at 12.07am

I can't thank God enough and also for everyone who encouraged me.

God will pull through for those still expectant. Your visas are on the way. Amen!
