For those bulaabaa followers who always want to know what the east contributes, this is one out of many. Almost 70% of containers that are imported into this country, go to the east. The remaining 30% to 40% go to Lagos and the rest of the country. If you take into consideration the stranglehold the easterners have on trade in this country, especially in Lagos, Abuja and Kano, it means that close to 80 to 90% of containers that land in different ports in Nigeria, were ordered by our ebullient brothers from the land of the rising sun. Obviously what that means is that almost all the trillions generated through import tariffs at the sea ports across the country, come from these Nnamdi kanu brothers. These are the trillions shared every months end, since almost all petrodollars earned from crude exports, go into debts servicing. Again , most of those crude exports come from the former Eastern Nigeria! The igbos need to be respected in this country. I wanted to say "should be worshipped". While these hardworking set of people are busy generating trillions for tinubus istrative owanbe, the agbadorians in power are busy putting all sorts of impediments on their business path. That Nigerian/West African ports are active, boils down to the doggedness of these people 10 Likes 1 Share |

Una don beat am so tey How can you people be claiming of developing this, developing that yet you couldn't replicate same in your region. How? Almost 70% of containers that are imported into this country, go to the east. The remaining 30% to 40% go to Lagos and the rest of the country Btw, who do you lots just like to lie for no sensible reason. Where did you get that statistics from? helinues: 65% of containers from abroad end up in Southeast — NIWA The National Inland Waterways Authority, NIWA, on Thursday, said over 65 per cent of cargo coming into Nigeria through the Lagos port ends up in Onitsha and Aba in the Southeast. Managing Director of NIWA, Dr George Moghalu, disclosed this when he featured at the 52nd Session of the State House Briefing organised by the Presidential Communications Team, at the State House, Abuja. He also said that everything is in place for the movement of Cargo in Onitsha River Port even though he explained that it is the owner of the cargo that will determine the movement. Moghalu, who was providing updates on the agency’s activities, however noted that the current road network infrastructure cannot withstand the sheer volume of traffic required to move cargo from the southeast to other parts of the country. This, he said, necessitated recent efforts by NIWA to provide water inroads to the northern part of the country. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2022/09/65-of-containers-from-abroad-end-up-in-southeast-niwa/amp/ I'm sure that if an authentic independent analysis is conducted on oil output per communities, it will look somehow like this... If not that Dr Moghalu headed that agency and laid the facts bare, people like you will be here talking nonsense as usual. 5 Likes |

helinues: Just Imo, Abia and Anambra for the highest gas deposits discovered in sub saharan Africa. Don't take my words for it. Run your checks. The other day, you saw gas explosions all over Enugu, just because families and businesses were drilling for water. The same Enugu is the place you will find it hard to dig your foundations for a new building because of the enormous coal reserves! We are talking of massive serious minerals resources in abundance at an industrial scale. And some of you here who get fed from the hydrocarbon exploited from these states, were directed by you handlers few days ago to push that laughable narrative that south-east states get 10000000% of allocations more than they generate? Let them go then! Or is that the reason why you don't want to let them go? From Delta state to Rivers state, a whole of the oil exploration happening mainland are in igbo communities. Go to Rivers state and do your checks. Wike and co will get these allocations, squander them and still go ahead to attack these communities. Most of these communities were yanked from the SE states by Obansanjo in the 70s, using his Mamman Nasir boundary adjustments Committee. The SE feeds you with oil earnings. They are about to feed you with gas earnings too. That is after feeding your lazy behind to stupor with tariffs from your ports... Ports you own but don't know what to do with them. Intead of always distracting them, You guys should be doing "dobale" for those igbos every morning . 5 Likes |

PulaPower:Oga, use your Google. You might be stunned with the result. Just search the percentage of containers imported into Nigeria that ended up in the SE. Maybe because igbos don't run their mouth on this, you think it is a lie. Most of the money being shared every month by the federal government comes from these. We have not even gone into the enormous kill that the government makes through charges on dollar remittances from abroad. And someone had the audacity to frame igbos as "parasites" in this country. They're deceiving themselves. With the criminal devaluation of the Naira and galloping inflation since this bulaba retarrd forced himself into power last year, N2. 1 trillion is certainly less than N200b of a few years ago. So let them re-denominate the revenues in USD and benchmark it against prior performances over the last 20 years, to be sure if they actually broke any useless 'record' or not. 2 Likes |

helinues: You run your mouth about your Lagos everyday here, but when you're hit with the the facts about those who run your Lagos, you start to throw tantrums. Highest earning venture in lagos is the ports, and by far the biggest actors there are from the SE! You have to find a way to deal with this without developing hypertension. With close to 70% of them containers coming into Lagos ports, going to the south-east and elsewhere, it obviously means that if you open up Warri or Calabar ports, lagos will be in big trouble. This is why I get irritated with my South south folks. They're are out of sort in strategic thinking. You guys from the south west should be the one begging but you're the ones insulting others. 1 Like |
