crownprince2017: That someone said a company is not living up to its potential doesn't mean bouthing in my own understanding. FMN performance has been underwhelming for a number of years and that is a fact going by the figures the present rally in share price notwithstanding. And I don't think he has ever said it is only fundamental or good number that makes stock price to go up. Any stock can rally in price for a number of reasons but that doesn't mean people should not air their opinions about a company that is not showing good performance in its books when they see one. 9 Likes |

robobo: Let me suggest something even better: why not check out Z-Library? You can either use their web portal or their app, which works seamlessly. There, you'll find an immense collection of books in various formats like PDF, EPUB, and MOBI. Once you have the books, get a reliable eBook reader from your app store of choice to enjoy them. Sharing the book directly would infringe on the author’s rights. By the way, I often share valuable resources here for free. For instance, I was the first to introduce the Yochaa app back in 2020, long before it gained popularity. I’ve been using it through all its updates and iterations. Ok nah... ![]() 2 Likes |

crownprince2017: This is a case of the End justifies the means. Flourmill is a good business anyday any time -consistent dividend. -You are equally also almost guaranteed return of your capital due to usually non-volatile nature within a time frame. But return on your investment, mmmm... I doubt(unless less than 10% dividend yield suits you or invest by yr end 2025) Without the buyout clause that caused the rally.. Did you forsee Flourmill giving you up-to 9% dividend yield or Bonus issue, or approaching this selling price of ₦60 by year end not to mention it's current price of ₦80, no matter its impressive revenue? Aside the current bull run which is inorganic/setimental) Flourmill Average price since February 2022 is between 32-33. It's dividend yield (2023 & 2024 Average price) are both less than 10%. The buyout price as KarlTom stated is the reason for it's bull run on Selling price so far. I doubt it would have crossed 50 this year organically. Point is, I don't think it was the right example to drive your initial point. 5 Likes |

I pushing FCMB's price down with just 300k in 2020 and announcing it here when I was still a Learner—with a capital "L." Everyone was furious, throwing attacks left and right. The only one who defended me back then was Mcy56. She thought I was the quiet type—lol. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Streetinvestor2: It's so unfortunate that someone cannot read between the lines and comprehend, I invested in a company early this year and in less than 7 months I have over 100 returns not the buy out price oooo, and someone said it's for chop chop money, I will be interested in your positions that have delivered the same return in the same time frame this year. The same way I couldn't see the delisting coming is the same you cant say a company will not do well but opt to come here bouthed them with insufficient evidence. |

Kereokwu: Did Buffett make his money strictly from stock investing? Or are you just shifting goalposts? Or perhaps it’s a case of ignorance? Let me clarify: Buffett did bonds, stocks, acquired companies through direct deals, and engaged in many other ventures. If your Buffett diversified his strategies, why would you expect traders to focus solely on stocks? By the way, many of the individuals on that list primarily traded stocks. It’s up to you to do your research. |
