is the toddler your only child?..if no your other children have visas?...if yes VO MIGHT HAVE profiled your family as jakpa possibles, hence reapplying soon after when nothing has changed in your circumstances may not achieve much.

Please can someone help me. I have just put in my us visa renewal and fixed an appointment on the Avits portal. However. I didn't mot receive an interview waiver letter. rather I was asked to book a regular appointment. I tried to go back to see if Iade any error whilst answering the Interview waiver questions but the portal was not allowing me to go back so I went ahead and booked an application with the hope that I will get the IW confirmation
Alas what I got is a date in May 2025 for a physical interview.

Both those on regular interview and those eligible for IW do apply on the same portal and follow the same scheduling pattern on the portal. However, qualification for an IW is based on the information provided in the course of scheduling the appointment. Last week, I did appointment for two elderly couple who qualified for drop box but they didn't get the IW. I think this new platform is kinda challenging to navigate especially for the first s. But with time, I believe everyone would get used to it, just like the previous one.

So you may need to raise a ticket and explain to them. I spoke with one of the call centre agents and she said the decision is at the discretion of the counsular officer and qualification for IW depends on alot of factors on the portal; even while the applicant is eligible for it

I actually experienced a similar situation where I tried to renew for two elderly couples. I had to create two new emails for them. These new emails ddn't receive the activation mails. So whenever I tried to sign in, is showed NOT ACTIVE. So here is how I managed to resolve it.

I called the call centre but the couldnt resolve it.
I had to create a new email and I waited for the activation link to be sent. I ddn't recieve after 3 days.
I had to create another new email and created a new profile in the name of each of the applicant on the portal and luckily, I was able to receive the activation link and was able to proceed with the scheduling process.

Kindly follow the above process and it will surely work. But should you encounter any challenge in the process, do not hesitate to drop me a whatsapp message on 0811 385 7108

I had the same issue. paid to Gtb,couldnt pick a date in old portal,got migration email in September, stuck on pending request since then (2 months), raised tickets,called ,had chats with AVITS,nothing until i discovered this on the embassy main site some days ago. it was resolved within 2 days by the embassy directly. Make sure you attach all the documents and screenshots, and say if its renewal or normal consulate interview you are trying to schedule. Prayerfuly,it will be resolved by them. i signed up on this group just to share this, because it was very frustrating for me too. All the best.

My brother paid on my behalf in first bank.
Took my printed copy of international port and bank payment reference paper with the cash to the bank and was done

I would advise they book another appointment on ois and go drop off their ports.As long as your visa expired within the last 48 months you qualify for IW,the only situation where you will need to go to the consulate is if you’re given a 21g letter after you do your drop box .Book an appointment on ois that matches Avits date and go and drop off .

Am happy to inform the house that our visa was approved.
The embassy is not for the faint hearted. There were plenty of denials like 100 denials to 1 approval. it's not entirely the fault of the embassy as many men and women (old and young)came highly unprepared. guys please be prepared. Kindly check out ZF Visa and Argo on YouTube. Their videos were more than useful as they really helped us to know how to answer all the questions thrown at us. Thank you Nairaland travel section too and our wonderful guys who are always willing to help out with the questions.
Prayer is a major major factor too trust me.
Please note that for those who need to update your DS 160, do not stress yourself as that will be done at the embassy. we did not complete our DS -160 on the old portal, but it was sorted at the embassy as our new DS-160 form was ed before our interview.

don't complicate issues , just try and reschedule. the Avits website is fond of classifying IW as normal visa...mine experience is somewhat similar to yours, but I can see you have 2 reschedule attempts in yours, I would advice you quickly use it and select a date, mine I was only seeing 2025 dates when I tried to reschedule...till after a while, I lost the capability to even reschedule, as an error msg pops out....it then wants me to start a fresh application, which am not keen on doing...hence am stuck
