I get life-threatening calls, messages over my generators that don't use fuel - Oyekunle Ayansola...

In an exclusive interview with Vanguard, Oyekunle Michael Ayansola, CEO of Mailko Technology Limited, shared the inspiring story behind his groundbreaking innovation — fuel-less generators. He spoke on the challenges he’s faced along the way, including receiving life-threatening calls and messages.

Ayansola’s journey began 13 years ago when he went to live with his uncle in Ibadan, where frequent power outages made life difficult. “Do you know the pain of trying to read at night without electricity? We relied on lanterns, and it was a huge challenge. You couldn’t even watch TV because there was no power,” Ayansola recalls.

It was during this time that the idea for a generator that didn’t require fuel took root in his mind. Determined to make his vision a reality, Ayansola shared his idea with his physics teacher.

“I told my teacher about it, and he said it was possible,” he adds, reflecting on the moment that set him on the path toward innovation.

Since then, Mailko Technology Limited has grown into a pioneering company, but not without challenges. Ayansola revealed that his invention has made him the target of hostile reactions, including threatening phone calls and messages.

Despite this, he remains focused on his mission to transform the energy sector and provide sustainable, fuel-free solutions.

They know he's about to stop their business from booming, they want to try everything to stop him .

And very very soon , we'll embrace him and I pray God's protections on him because those people will stop at nothing to bring him down ..

They won't want his innovation to see the light of day ..

This type of headline has been causing problems since the beginning of Nairaland.

In most cases, the problem is caused by the journalist, not the person that made the device.

What is the source of the power, is it electrical, chemical or motion?

naptu2:
The first time I came across this very confusing definition was during the fuel crisis of the 1990s.

To some Nigerians fuel (which they pronounce as fooel) = petrol (and only petrol).

So when I tell someone that a fuel tanker crashed on iralty Way, the person would reply that it was a diesel tanker, not a fuel tanker.

I learnt in primary school that a fuel is anything that can be burnt to produce heat, energy and illumination. Therefore firewood is a type of fuel, coal is a type of fuel, kerosene is a type of fuel, diesel is a type of fuel and petrol is a type of fuel.

I learnt about high octane and low octane fuels from following the exploits of Mario Andretti and Nigel Mansel.

As I grew older I learnt that a fuel is a substance that produces energy, power or heat when it undergoes a chemical or nuclear reaction. Therefore we have nuclear fuels, hydrogen fuel cells and carbohydrate is also a type fuel that is used by the body.

So it is very strange when I hear people ask, "Does it use fuel or diesel?"

Modified.

naptu2:
Now I have the time to include the missing post.

The most heartbreaking example for me occurred in 2010. Some secondary school students, little girls, made a machine as part of their JETS project, but instead of being appreciated, they were getting attacked all over the internet. Why? Because the journalist used certain in his report.

The journalist wrote that the girls had "invented a fuelless generator". People accused the girls of fraud and insulted them, but the girls never claimed that they invented a fuelless generator, those were the words of the journalist.

Clown 'inventor' and clown reporter.

It doesnt run on fuel, and no mention of what it actually runs on. No mention of the technology behind the "invention". Even we all know what Elon Musk's "fuelless' Tesla cars run on.

Your invention doesnt run on fuel and in these days of T-Pain no one still knows about it?

Dude is probably setting the ground for a grand scam.

If his "fuel-less"gen works alot of people with more money would have taken over the business.

Just like evs today, people will rush to buy it once you prove it works.

An almost ten minute video with zero mention of the physics involved. The guy doesn’t sound an IQ point average intelligence. This video is either a scam or an exaggeration of the generator’s power.

Then what does it run on? There are no "fuelless" anything. For work to happen, there must be a source of energy. Laws of thermodynamics

Well done, that is a great fit there, even if it doesn't meet up to expectations, you have done great by identifying a challenge and confronting it with a solution.

From the comments above it's safe to say Nigeria is still in stone age. They've left us behind in the grand scheme of things. Just last week i bought a bike that doesn't use fuel for 1.8 million I only get to charge it with light. And someone is baffled on how a generator can operate without fuel.

SMH in disgust

That's why I know it would take decades before this world moves away from fossil fuels because the big men and oil exporting countries would do everything in their power to kill any invention that would lead to the end of fuel consumption, imagine creating a car that runs completely without fuel and it is cheap and trying to present it to the nigerian government whose major source of revenue is from petrol, they would rather silence the person and kill the invention than make it see the light of day

That's a load of twaddle. Energy can neither be created nor destroyed but can only be converted from one form to another.
A power generator is a machine that converts other forms of energy to electrical energy.
The guyman hasn't told us the form of energy he's generating electricity from.
