BOG202:
So less than 6000MW of power is enough to serve more than 80million people at least 20hrs a day.

With this, naija only need 15,000MW of power to serve more than 200 million people

Na wah o.

I think gas shortage usually restrict them to 5000 mw, they can generate far more than that if gas is available consistently

I may agree with this assertion from my own personal experience. My area is under "band A", and we have light up to 20 to 24 hours daily. However, the charges are huge. You pay N225 instead of the N65. But I am using solar to offset the cost. I power my house on solar during the day and NEPA at night, to manage the IKEDC bill on band A s.
Can 40% of Nigerian Households even afford this Band A? undecided

The Ministry of Power, some years ago said it would need to generate and efficiently distribute about 40,000MW if it were to in fact serve all personal homes in Nigeria aloneβ€” not businesses. undecided

But estimated bill has gone beyond 500% since you people came.

But only a fraction of Nigerians on grade A can enjoy up to 20 hrs power supply.

This is not an achievement to be honest.

No be me Tinubu go kill with Tariff and high blood pressure.

From 30k monthly, now I spend 120k monthly to load the prepaid meter. No capping. Minimum Wage sef wey be 70k na joke .

There are approximately 26 million homes in Nigeria, and 40% of that is the Ministry of Power can supply 20 hours of electricity per day to 10.6 million homes β€” 10,600,000 householdsβ€” homes out of all of that with just 5,500MW of electricity which he claims the country generates. No be juju be that one? undecided

I do not know the part of Nigeria you reside in or if you reside in Nigeria at all.

But from my end and from where I live I enjoy over 20hrs of stable electricity and am not a Band A customer.

If you do not just state so without shenanigans so we can all move forward. Not coming online to talk gibberish cus you can afford to do so.

Haaa! Which Nigerians this man is talking about? Pls is this man alright?

Cn I say this Adelabu is confused like the way his father was confused creating headahe all over Ibadan then.

Pls someone should ask him to take a walk in the evening in Ibadan or in Beenin or Kaduna to see things himself and stop relying on enemy of light reports deceiving him.

Because your part gets thia 20 hours , i am somehow to believe that 10.6 million Nigerians equally enjoy the same on just 5000MW as claimed by this man? Do you even understand what you are saying? undecided

2. You are not even band A yet you dey enjoy Wetin some claim are Band A privileges? 🀣🀣🀣🀣🀣

Sometimes I wonder how stupid this people even think we are,40% of the consumers have light which is roughly 30-40 million people with just 5000 mw?while a country with similar 49million citizens have 50,000 mw,is this not a disgrace, how can the country develop

Mr Minister keep your lying mouth, we know the minimal increase in power generation is as a result of increase in water level that increased the supply from hydro station to the national greed and not because of any intervention.

At the peak of heat period next year when huoseholds need home gadgets like freezer and air-conditioner, we would see if transformers wonts start blowing up and national grid start collapsing, that is when we would be able to access your acievement.

But for now just keep shut and pray Tinubu do not replace you
Water level has nothing to do with increased in power supply.

I said it ....d cabinet reshuffling by "Tin who Bull" brought about this propaganda from the Minister of Power.... Even though it's only 40% of Nigerians it covers for now.....I also observed the power supply is stable couple of days ago but d bill is draining and crazy though. Nevertheless, It's crazy and infuriating seeing this politicians playing on our intelligence; so if Tinwhobull did not prioritize the reshuffling of a thing; maybe there won't be any improvement whatsoever from d power sector.... It's a pathetic n critical situation for Nigerians# We need God fearing leaders# We need leaders with conscience# We need leaders with actions.
God help us

These government is confused with it's propaganda.

Tinubu wants to force his imaginary achievements on the people, irrespective of the suffering.

Tariff is extremely high over the increased tax. Ordinary Nigerians can't afford it..... How are they enjoying the light?

Estimated bill is on a very high side.... Prepaid meter is now very expensive to acquire.

The 40% is made up of the rich class and a tiny fraction of the middle class....

Stop crying. I am enjoying at least 18 hours right now. I thought it was a fluke but it has been sustained. Stop complaining and work together to better the lots. I won’t be surprised if you are doing yahoo job and complaining about a decadent country. Are you not part of the problem?
