Don't you know some Nigerian women have actually levelled "non-existent" allegations against their husbands just to take out of their cheating way? The most common of them is accusing the man of molesting their own daughter. This leads to the deportation of the men eventually most times. It is not his place to do that, particularly when in that uniform. The police job is not the protection of family values or the idea of it. That is absolutely none of the business of the police, and so this man was wrong in doing what he did.

Why do many of you still reason like dindinrins even as 2024 don dey come to a close? The only reason a person would call the cops into a marriage is if and only if there is a disagreement that requires their presence in the home.

A policeman would not be sent out simply because a husband and wife simply disagreed over whether to have Chinese or Italian for dinner. I mean before a police officer is dispatched to a location, the operator collects details of the problem to ensure that the officer is not being sent out on a fool's errand. So by the time the officer lands in your home, they already checked the record on the home, the person making the complaint and the one the complaint is being made about to ascertain they have the records of these people on hand to provide any needed medication or simply need to relocate one of the involved out of the house to de-escalate.

The policeman was already in the home so that there is clear that something real was reported or he was just visiting his friends, happened to be wearing his uniform at the time and was unluckily caught on camera advising the friend's wife not to call the cops on her husband. Whatever the case may have been the police man is wrong to have done that while wearing his uniform.
