I am just curious, what does IELTS score have to do with this? Does high score in IELTS really mean anything?

Meself dey wonder o. But I guess since courses like this are regulated, then it's one of the doings of the regulatory bodies. Much like how doctors and nurses need to do IELTS before they can move to UK.

Use a dollar card of someone you know in the case you’ll get a refund in the future so you can easily get your money back.

You can only use dollar/pounds card or someone from the UK pay for you while you send them the naira equivalent

September 2025 is about a year from today. You can only do two things for now (that is if you don't have them already), get your academic transcript, your international port.

You can start looking for ission (survey) now or even from Next year January.

Please note, (Maintenance funds) AKA POF will increase from early January next year. Further reading available at

You need a dollar card tied to a domicilliary . Or you ask someone abroad to pay for you and your refund in Naira.

GTB Dollar cards works very well. You need a few days to get that sorted out. It takes about 24 - 48 hours if you are a platinum customer.

Good morning, do not use phone to book the appointment, it will always indicate 'Not set yet'. Kindly , use laptop or desktop to do that aspect of booking of appointment.

Go with faith. They rarely ask for physical copies of documents. Just the tls application checklist, photocopy of your international port, your appointment print-out from your email and receipt of payment(rarely)

I intend to start my 28days POF tomorrow, but I’m a bit confused because my conditional letter of offer states that I am eligible for scholarship up to £4000 depending on my result, but no definite amount was stated. How do I calculate the tuition for the POF? Should I subtract the amount from the tuition or I should just provide POF as if I didn’t put the £4000 in the picture?

The discount will be on your CAS. Just confirm from the school if you will get the discount.

From my experience, flights on Mondays are the cheapest. Avoid Friday to Sunday. Check all the dates and compare the cost.

You can check Emirates, Qatar, Ethopian Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Rwanda Air. I would recommend Qatar and Emirates - if you don't mind the long route. They are efficient and you don't need transit visa. The airports in Dubai and Doha are beautiful and will add to your flying experience. If you fly to Manchester, you might get to fly on the Airbus A380 - the world's largest commercial enger aircraft. Beautiful plane

Avoid Air Moroc and Egypt Air.

You need transit visa for KLM, Lufthansa, Air ...

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic will be very expensive. Buy your ticket as soon as you can.

It should not be an issue as long as your school accepted the neco print out.

Whatever qualification your school has accepted is usually acceptable to the visa officers. The are mainly interested in your POF...
