CNN wasn't the only cable television that carried that news. Most news channel reported the same thing. And that was exactly what Trump said, it was fews days later that he added his reasons and that was also in all news channel.
So jumping into conclusions, one cannot say something again without being labeled CNN watcher.
The way CNN according to you is propagating falsehoods for democrats is the way Fox is propagating falsehoods for Republicans.
