Don't do that else you will regret it. Have you not been reading news from other students who did exactly what you are planning to do?

Thank you so much for your concern. I have some funds but like I said, I can’t trust the exchange rate. The balance I need will not require me to work overtime.

I’m just looking for a good place to work and study without stress. Please if you have any information, I’d be grateful. Thank you so much.

You can study and work in London without stress. Average monthly rent is over £550 if you are lucky enough.
Monthly income on 20hrs job is at most £1000

Thank you so much. This is great information.

Is it possible though, to live and school in maybe Derby or some other area and then work in London for holidays. I have family that I can stay with during the holidays.

I am kind of trying to avoid schooling in London because their living expenses is higher compared to other areas. I don’t want to panic too much concerning proof of funds 😅

Give the UK a break until the election come and go, this harsh immigration policy will change in some way.

Anybody telling you come to the UK right now to study and work for school fees does not want the best for you. How many millions of naira do you have to convert to £ to be able to afford studying in the UK?

If you have the money and can study without depending on part time work then no problem.

Looking at this thread alone will tell you how bad things are.

I stay in London and average monthly rent for a single room is at least £700 and ine will still drop a deposit of a month rent.
So, for a start, prepare at least £1400.

Pls what's the transport and feeding cost like in London. Can you give what it will take on the average for a month?

And by single room do u mean our normal self con here where I will have bathroom/toilet and kitchen to myself alone?

For transportation, reliance is on the public London buses. It costs £1.75 for a bus and if u board 2 buses within an hour, u still get charged same £1.75. Then the maximum charge in a day is £5.25 even if u take hundred buses in a day.
Feeding is quite cheap, I think one person can manage just £50 a month on food.
Problem here is accommodation, and by single room, I don't mean with a personal bathroom and kitchen, they still will be shared.

Please and please don't look at the 1000 per month's earnings and start preparing to come over to study.
It could take you anywhere up to 4 to 5 months to land this jobs. And most times before seeing agencies that will give u 20hours per week might be difficult. At times u might see 10hrs per week.

No job is waiting for anyone, before u start pressing calculator because that was what most of us that came September did and by the 3rd month no job yet.

I mean this... am telling you..

Secondly this 1000 pounds can go straight to bills like house rent, gass and transportation. and what about if the job didn't come on time?

You should only come when you have the full or 80% tuition fee and also money for house rent for at least 5 month's.

The people this Japa favoured well we'll where those that came 2021,2022 the immediately after the pandemic erra when most Britons left jobs.. This people and their dependant saw COS easily, saw jobs easily

Please who is studying bioinformatics or know anyone studying it?

Please who is in Teeside university or knows about this university?

Thank you so much.
Teeside uni is a good bad school, has large Nigerian communities over there. Avoid teesside
Teeside is close to Sunderland, I think about 25 to 30 km. And also close to Newcastle.

Most people that school in teesside and even Middlesbrough comes to Newcastle, Sunderland, south Shield etc to work.

If coming to UK now... Please please have at least 80% fees and 5month rent at hand.

Like you can see... We have students in teesside, university of Sunderland, university of Middlesbrough, northumbria university, Newcastle University... All chasing jobs in this cities that you can use just 2 pounds to access irrespective of where u are with this 5 universities.

Unless you have special skills like carpentry, ing, plumber.

Abeg I need info, what else can I attach to my visa application as a dependant aside marriage certificate and wedding pictures.

My fiance got a healthcare visa and she's leaving by 1st week of March and our wedding is next weekend.

I would be applying as her dependant by April and I'm a little worried because they might say the marriage is young.

Any person with helpful information should please help me

I don’t have those special skills. I’ll keep your information in mind.

Thank you so very much 🙏🏾

Your courtship that lead to the marriage will suffice as long as you have evidence for 2 years including the married period

UKVI request interviews at the discretion of the officer but most common with schools that don’t conduct their pre-cas assessment (interview).

Just your NYSC certificate.
Don’t complicate things by ing employment letter.
As a fresh graduate without any study gap on your cv,you don't need any employment letter.

Reason why schools ask for employment letter is for you to demonstrate what you have been doing since when you graduated.

Hello house, I am finding it hard to get a job here in UK. I arrived Leicester two weeks ago. Someone said I can't do a full time job as it would reflect in the home office that I am exceeding my work permit hours. But even multiple part time jobs are difficult to get. I went to a place today and I was asked if I have permit to work full time and I said yes out of frustration and my number was taken down with my name and they said they would send a link to me so I can my documents through the link. But someone says they'll still know if I am being asked to my BRP which will reveal my work limit.
