I don't even know what I trade sef but yeah I do a bit of ifvg as part of my strategy. I use a combination of ifvg, 20,30,40,50 and 200 Ema then another indicator called Trend Catcher to spot volatility in the market.

Since they are mix, it would bounce both ways and decide a direction after a minute or two. NFP is usually one, unless accompanied by unemployment claims. However if all red news go red or green at the same time, it shoot very heavily. Best is single news, one direction news.

What is one to do in case of losses?? How does one cover them to continue the Streak??

Sorry for the delay in answering you...... well, no one has the formular for consistent win rates, and there will always be good trades turn bad and similar occurence like that. But one thing is for sure... if you have winning rates more than loosing rates, with higher profit factors, consistently, daily, weekly, monthly, then you are a successful trader.

Lets say, from my own way of trading, you have the numbers of trades to take in a day, lets say, 2 , and that 2 represent 2 percent of your , once it hit the SL, you wait for the following day. Thats where the desline comes in, which many of us lack.... and for TP, vice versa. Thats where you MUST have a strategy that has an EDGE. It may be order flow, Trading in the zone, Trading around STRONG SUPPLY/RESISTANCE ZONES and make sure its working.... having a specific TP/SL , work with Trade Manager and so on..

Now, recently, i ed fundednext team on discord and asked for the data of what is common to the successful prop traders and how they trade and so on, may be they will give me. At least they have their data, but to my surprise, they sent me already made pdf of some top secrets of successful traders and what they noticed they do. At least its an eye opener. I believe the pdf is in public domain, and i believe , may be a lot here have it. But it reveals a lot of information including of what you are asking. Honestly it cant be easier than that. If you dont have it, below, read it, digest it, learn from it and practice what they preach, then you will see a drastic changes in your .

I think I have shared my chart analysis on this before now. i wouldn't trade it until I see GBPJPY drop down to the level between 182.41 and 181.50, then I could buy from there and target 191.024 but if it doesn't drop to my taste or give me what I want, I won't bother to trade it. if I don't see that drop before it touches 191.024 I won't trade it.

Only when I am lazy I can do that "News trading" thingy, I like to position on indices and gold. When indices are closer to the nearest 1000s and no hot news left for the month, I'll just buy. As for Gold, it has always been below 2K, I don't fancy buying gold above 2K, I simply wait for a news that would pump it and when there are no hot news for the month, I can swing sell...
I love scalping, best time is opening times as prices bounces up and down, before 6 AM. Ger40 is good in the morning, if the EURStoXX is traveling up, I can buy Ger40.
