Some may say it's semantics but there is a slight difference. Goalscoring is more volume-based while FInishing is more of efficiency and difficulty-based. It's like scoring and shooting in the NBA. They are similar but different. Shaq could score but he was a terrible shooter. Even in football, Modric and Kroos are great shooters but not so good at scoring goals. Dzeko, Sterling are examples of good goalscorers but average finishers.
