Are you paying for the device, otherwise how's it any of your business? Just because you can't afford to doesn't mean OP shouldn't.

If you can't make any meaningful contribution, you can always skip the thread.

RE OP: You should try getting a used iPhone 12 with at least 90% battery life if you can stretch your budget. iPhones are worth every penny as they last a long time compared to other phones in that range. It will see many more years of meaningful OS updates.

Better to save to get what you want than settle for something you'll suffer buyer's remorse for.

No mind the broke fellow. ing for inflation, ₦170,000 is nothing for a phone. I buying a new iPhone 5s for ₦150,000 in 2012 when it launched. Newer top range phones will cost you over ₦450,000 these days.

You would a good mid range Samsung device with 170k and that is okay for you. A series to be specific. You are not a mobile content creator, you don't need whatever phone they are trying to sell to you.

Tell him you need Samsung s10 plus (150k max)

Out of the remaining 20k, buy groceries, satchet sweetener, floating berries/brown crunchies 10k... Buy data 5k if you want to stay happy... And the remaining 5k should be kept as emergency funds incase the groceries latter worry you for belle 😂.... don't mention
