Guys, please I have a question. I know someone that has a PhD funding of 34,000 CAD per year. Out of this money, she will pay 12,000 CAD for tuition and other expenses. Also, she will use 14,000 CAD per year for the accommodation and feeding (Quebec). This means she has an excess of 8,000 CAD. She also still show a proof of fund of roughly 11,000 CAD.
However, she was denied visa. After she requested for the gcmc or whatever that thing is, one of the reasons is inadequate of fund. Please, does this make any sense?
Though he isn't in Nigeria. That means he applied from abroad.

What could be the reason for saying inadequate of fund with all these excesses?

2. Who sho raise the gift deed, my mom the owner of the land or my brothers who stood as our family representative.

3.when my mom purchased her land she was given a survey plan bearing the initial owners name, the deed of sales has the same name as the seller of the said land and my mom’s name as the buyer of the said land, we are yet to do a new survey bearing her name as we see no need for it taking into consideration the cost of survey plan in Lagos, question is can I include the survey since the same name is appearing as the seller of the land on the deed or I should just forget using survey completely.

This is very possible and it happens a lot of time. VO may not update the profile status until everything is concluded. Yes you can get approved and everything will be updated at the end. Best of luck

1. There is no problem with him including the info. All they will do if they call, is confirm if the lawyer is real nd he works there. They won’t ask about d deed. A Deed can speak for itself with or without a lawyer.
2. I’m not sure u need a gift deed, what u need is a Power of attorney, from ur mom empowering ur brothers to manage the property and pay the proceed into ur for the purpose of ur studies (tuition). A lawyer is the answer to all ur questions.
3. Yes u can use it. So far the conveyance deed or affidavit shows d person as seller and ur mom as buyer. U will also explain all this things u have explained here inside ur sop.

At The check in section, the Ethiopian airlines official in charge of checking come day do busybody: port, ission letter, to student portal let me see (for my mind I say Shay I go hold visa if I no carry all this things)

After that Paid for my extra baggage( To me it is better to pay for extra baggage in naira in Nigeria than come here and be using scarce FX for food and the rest )

At the airport in Toronto there were a lot of us and all they did was take our Letter of introduction then we signed declaration or whatever form through a machine like an ATM and then they gave us the permits. I didn't see them ask any body any question.

You can also get your SIN number at the airport but there might be a queue. Also do not change dollars at the airport. I opened CIBC bank at the airport and changed in their branch in the city for a very good rate. Got SIM card there as well. From there to my BNB and moved May 2 to my apartment. Finding private bathroom was so stressful, almost all the apartments were sharing bathrooms but got at last

So currently I'm in London Ontario for Fanshawe. If you are around here as well holla.

Thanks a lot for the response. So this is a screenshot of the Request Letter. Since they included the option of sending in proof of previous biometric submission, I thought that should suffice.

However, the time frame they gave has now ed for the payment (we sent the BVL on the same day we got the Request Letter), so we will most likely the reciept via their Web form if we make the payment now.

Given this new info, what do you think?

Another challenge I have is. My opening balance on Feb first is about 8m. Then on 1st Feb. I moved about 2m from my money market fund and my other savings to my salary where the 8m was. cos I wanted all the money to be in one place.(I can explain that by printing my money market fund and my other savings statement) but since then. Apart from small small money going into the . 100k here, 70k there. Most bulk money entering my is one time I loaned a friend 1m. He paid back after say 2 weeks. I loaned someone else 600k. She paid back after say a month. How do I explain those? Do I just show where I gave the money and then where they returned it in the bank statement or what do I do? And do I need to explain 70k, 100k deposits?

This is my 3rd application. Actually, I did not know today is my day of testimony or this application will be approved. I even started my master's in Nigeria already because I have lost every hope after 2 denials.

School: University of Canada West
Course: Master of Business istration

Documents Submitted

1. ission letter
2. tuition receipt
4. my family picture
5. my picture in usa, uk, finland, and south africa
6. my port and visa stamp pages
7. statment of purpose and letter of explanation detailing what has changed, which was written perfectly written by @Sopwriter
8. my father's company cac
9. his personal soa (both savings and current)
10. company 1 soa
11. company 2 soa
12. Introduction letter from one my father's company saying I have been working for the family business since I competed my bsc
13. my awards and certificates
14. my cv
15. my police cert

Let me add this, I did not submit my soa bcuz it is just school fee and upkeep allowance from my father that enters it so there is nothing hefty in my so I was told not to submit it

I dedicate this approval to God almighty and my family. Appreciation also goes to @Sopwriter. This man really helped me with advices. He called me with his airtime and guided me from A to Z.

To other hopefuls, please don't give up because that last try may be where the testimony is. I started my master's in Nigeria already and today I am rejoicing

While this is correct in theory, Vos can ask the ‘what if’ questions, as they know that most scholarship/funding is based on you maintaining satisfactory progress in the program. So, you should add a source of funds or proof of funds; have at least one year of living expenses. Better still, get a sponsor, even if it is a third-party sponsor.

Having funding does not mean that VO will not ‘serve you breakfast’ for insufficient funds, as these funding/scholarships, though available, is only accessible when you meet specific requirements. This time, in addition to proof of funds, mentioned precisely what the funding cover, how much will be provided per period and when it will be disbursed. Suppose you don’t have additional funds or a sponsor. In that case, I recommend you ask for a letter from your Head of Department, or supervisor addressed to IRCC stating that they GUARANTEED MAXIMUM FINANCIAL for tuition and living expenses and you are a highly deserving student.

I think US don't ask for anything statement of from a full funding student. I actually still don't understand why VOs are doing this. Come to think of it, do you think Canada will give funding to a non-potential student? If they are asking "if questions" while seeing the funding, that means they don't trust the systems. Majority of Canadian universities will never issue ission talk more of funding if they don't see any potential in you. They need to trust the system and keep track of the students.
Furthermore, may be the school should make it a duty to drop out any student that doesn't meet up with their expectation and fails to pay up the necessary dues at the appropriate time. The immigration office will then do the needful.
There are some people that will not even disturb themselves on any scholarship if they have money. However, the funding provided by that person in question was super enough. It's even more than what the IRCC requested for.
I think luck also matters in this journey. God will favour everyone.

Similar to mine, when I discovered here, began to panic on seeing other's documents. I started preparing for a better second application , I requested for GCMS notes while my already submitted application was barely 6weeks. I was even praying for the rejection to come sooner so that I can upgrade my docs with the info I got here and reapply reapply fast fast.
My whole body was just shivering when I saw PPR, I couldn't even hold my phone steady for abt 2minutes.

I submitted my application on 17th of April together with my upfront medical. Till date, I haven’t received biometric introduction letter but my medical was reviewed and ed on the 28th of April.

I filled a web form on the 22nd of April, still waiting for a response.

Please is there anyone that had this kind of challenge? How did you solve it?
