My sis wants to go to SA for a visit but have no one to send her invitation letter so she will be going for tourism. I understand from the thread that she will need yellow card, port data page, 2 port photos, ticket itinerary, paid hotel reservation and bank statement.

Just incase I am missing anything on the documents needed you can tell me.

My question now:

1) how much should be in her ?

2) will she show leave from her working place? What if she hasn't work before?

3) will she show employment letter? What if she hasn't work before?

4) will she show payslip? What if she hasn't work before?

5) do she needs to write an explanation letter to why she is visiting SA?

6) how much is visa fee for tourism/visit?

7) how much is the cheapest hotel? Like a range please

No processing time. Just apply and be checking mails occassionally. Mine took like 6 weeks
As regards your husband statement, YEs, use it, but add a cover letter stating that he is the one sponsoring your trip. State in your Personal Introduction letter

She needs an enticing personal introduction letter, stating her mission in SA, arrival date and when she intends to leave. She also needs to ensure that her SoA is stamped and signed on all of the pages.
