Please who knows the reason why a port is stuck at UP for weeks. I had same capturing date with my daughter but she captured two days before me because I have NIN issue. My port is ready for collection but they said my daughter’s own is UP, since two weeks ago. They still said same thing today. It appears they want to frustrate us DYIers.
Who knows what UP means I beg? It’s Alausa office

I'm going for my port renewal at Ikoyi on 22nd of this month (Thursday). Pls what are the requirements and if there's anyone here that also have his/her appointment on that day let connect. Thanks

Thanks for the response. But the reason I'm alarmed is becaused I lashed out and parad at the officer doing the process for me. Its almost 6months now, no port but one excuse or the other only to track my application and see that all is unticked. To be honest, I'm extremely worried.

I've used it for payment over 200 times. Never failed for once with my GTB card.

Failed once with my Zenith card..

Your port must be 6 months or less than to expire before you can apply for renewal.

You can renew your port by August 2023 meanwhile if you have visa already on your port you can travel with it even with one month to expire port.

Minimum 6 months to expire port condition is applicable to only when you are applying for visa at embassy not when visa is already on your port

They are producing September presently. My husband just got his renewed port last week, he captured in September.

Any color port photo is fine, but on capturing date it's advisable not to put on white top.

Yes the visa is still valid until expired but NIS will cancel the old port without prejudice that does not mean the visa is canceled

Same everywhere online payment @ 26k but they will ask you for logistics at the immigration office during caputuring -
Renewal = 5k
First time port 7-10k depending on their mood
