I get how annoying it can be when items are posted at over 200% profit but believe me, if you get an item to sell in a market place where there's little or no possibility to compare price , you'll do the same. Not everything is greed. It's just business.

Later later, I went to another supermarket again and I bought this custard for 65 naira...

Guy I wan mad... I wanted to go buy to the previous store to fight the guy and spoil his image b4 his customers but people begged me not to go...

Businesses make significant losses too. Take Alabaconnect's (AC) kind of business as an example: I am sure there are supply shipments that they receive and most of the screens are broken. Someone mentioned that AC replaced a TV that got broken in transport at no extra cost to him. Who do you think bears that loss?

See, some Industries generally make sales with high margins to offset the risks and losses associated with the business of that industry. Business continuity, from the perspective of the seller, is to average out those losses and gains, and ensure that they are profitable in the long run. After all, if a business is not profitable, they will shut down and customers will be unable to get what they need.

Also, in addition to doing due diligence in price comparison, you should also focus on the value you get from a seeming overpriced product. After all, the same beer you buy for less than 500naira in a normal bar sells for nearly 5,000 in a hotel bar. Would you say you were cheated in that situation?

Most of them always pay upholsterers to complete the clothing part.
The few furniture makers who can do the upholstery most times only focus on cushion chairs and nothing else.
Though recently, some of these young guys are taking it upon themselves to learn both furniture making and upholstery, it's just not common yet because it's very stressful unless it's a big company that could afford both at a time.
