You should have made a paid call/mail to request for ihs top up link before your visa came out but not too late you can still do so but this time let them know you have gotten your visa… Nothing to be scared about reaching out to them. You no commit crime.

My visa came out in a week even though I didn't do priority. There was no way I would have expected it to come out then.

His agent did not inform him that he will need POF to get CAS. Now, the deadline for CAS is very close and he cannot meet up the statement deadline if he starts now to keep POF for 28 days.

He mailed the school and he was told to defer.

He intends patronizing those that can give "backdated POF" for the required 28 days.

They are giving him the assurance that the school wont confirm.

Please is this advisable?

NB: The whole journey started when MA got her visa in August and we went to registry on September 2nd, we weren’t married as at when she was applying for her visa and we’ve been dating for years and staying together, I never knew about uk student dependent not until when her visa got approved……I have always been thinking of studying in Canada and USA of which she was very in but when she got her visa we started feeling uncomfortable about the distant involved so out of curiosity I started coming here for advice and thanks to @duchess, @gloryah, @giselle and many others who has been of help in one way or the other and makes me to believe I can do it myself of which I did and it was a successful one.
I made several mistakes though but then ukvi decision was in my favour and unto the glory of God God has really been faithful to me.

SOA
FAMILY PICTURES
MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE
MA’s BRP
PORT
TB CERTIFICATE ( there was a typographical error’s on the input uk address and I equally stated that during my visa application)

I calculated the IHS on the website and got £1175 but with what you just said 12 months being £705 that is to say 24months will be £1410. How do I possibly determine what to pay? Although I haven't gotten to this stage but having an idea is important.

If you have not paid for IHS surcharge and Visa fee, just abandon that application and begin another one.

IHS for a year is £470
The extra 4/6 months added to one’s visa is £235. When you add up you get 705.

With a 2 year course that’s £470 + £470 + £235 = 1,175.

You're not alone, I'm hoping to receive an unconditional offer from them. I would advise you start with the ones you can get cos time is of the essence.

Good day everyone….pls I need an answer does it take long for dependant visa or decision to be made after main applicant has gotten his visa
N.b:we applied same time but biometric was done a week apart and MA has gotten decision mail since 26th oct and even collection mail but dependant is yet to get decision mail….pls what could be the cause of the delay and what can be done
