I'm a collector. I bought the sneakers cuz it's made only in Italy with the best materials, it's the most comfortable of sneakers I've ever bought and lastly the originals are status symbols so when people check your shoe and see you're wearing an original they tend to elevate whatever status they put you before just like owning an iPhone 14 right now would do to someone.

I think the first and last points are most likely why it's so expensive. making a shoe in Italy would cost a whole lot more than making it in China and Vietnam ala Nike, Adidas etc
