Can someone please recommend an inverter brand for me? Not too expensive like Deye but still reliable.
The first I used was a Chinese one. It worked well but my light damaged it. The second was MUST. I had the worst experience with that.
I'll appreciate the recommendations.

It is not my intention to destroy livelihoods by sharing the name of the distributor for the kind of inverter and battery that I am using.

I was simply trying to avoid the grey market.

Contractors will understand this, say that suddenly, some company or agency decides they want to award a contract for the supply of 2000 Toyota Camry's.

Two kinds of people will bid, those who have always sold Camrys can the buyer if they have issues with their vehicle.

There are those who can how they can make a quick turnover by selling 2000 Toyota Camrys, they have zero structure after sales. The client is on its own.

When I deal with clients I go all out to provide them after sales, so I cannot expect any less.

I would rather do business with the first set of people than with the second set.

I am doing this, from my own experience, as a . I do not sell anything
I bought this Genex Inverter, over a year or thereabout.
I have heard stories about Inverter Problems so l was expecting "something" to happen, one of these days.
I dont stay home most of the time, so it is my youngest Son that is the "Engineer" of our Solar System.

The Inverter has been abused, a lot of times, (overloading it or mistakenly putting on something that was not supposed to be on, with other things. Though, l did oversize my s, just to ensure that my LiFePo4 Cells have enough charges, as l do run on Solar 24/7 and we use all sorts of Equipment in daytime), the Inverter has shut down and screamed, the dust it accumulates at times, scares me it will pack up but hell No, it continues to work Non Stop.

if all Inverters worked that smoothly and dont give hassles, l think we wont have so many people here, complaining about their Inverters.
Whether it will start its own problem tomorrow, which l doubt, l cannot say but till now, it has been excellente, for its price.

I bought a spare of it and kept at home, for the rainy day, if that day does not come, then l may dispose it off (even at a gain), as prices are always rising.

It is a Genex Inverter, the Selling Company has good warranty on it as well. Compared to others in its category, it is cheap!

Sincerely, I can't tell. That's because I have not encountered such CC. But I want to assume that because the light intensity and power directed to the CC from the s will be gradual as daylight gradually intestifies in the morning, then there is ample time for the CC to adjust itself and probably initiate a protect function.

But perhaps if a large current input is suddenly put on it from a hot midday sun while it is not connected to a battery, then that blue smoke may be produced.

See how it works.
A bms shuts down a lithium pack for Lvd, only the discharge side is shut down, the charge side is open to receive charge into the battery.

Same happens in reverse for bms shutting down for HVD.

Where you may have a problem is if you are using a non hybrid inverter without its own inbuilt Lvd and without a standalone cc.
Since @ Lvd, the bms has cut off battery discharge, now some inverters may not be able to sense the battery to charge it. A standalone cc wouldnt hv this shortcoming.

But if the BMS is totally down/off...ie it has disconnected both charge and discharge...then no charging source will be able to charge the battery, until you either wake up the bms or by the bms by attempting to charge the battery directly
