For your POF, you can not apply before your POF matures.
The tier 4 is point based and you must evidence tht the funds have been held for at least 28 days.
Secondly, a ban is not a refusal. You know very well they are not same thing.
Then you have been told on this same forum prior to now to declare and speak the truth.
Pls show the link on the immigration law either for Canada or UK that says any immigratx history of 10 years is now invalid.
Your questions are not true questions as you know very well you want to conceal the truth on your application and nobody here is going to nudge you to do so.

You can't compare a school that is ranked 1st to a school that is ranked 1000th. Ranking matters especially in US and UK,not in Canada. My cousin did her masters in Oxford and got so many offers immediately she finished, within and outside Uk.

Generally, life is about what you can offer and impact you want to make in the organisation. Do you ask if a doctor that wants to treat you attend top schools or lowly ranked school. But recruiters know some schools are not rich in of course content and tend to overlook them, students of such schools need to do extra work to be at par with other candidates, competition is crazy all over d world.

Before you apply, look at the course content and d calibre of lecturers., chats up with the current students and alumni on LinkedIn and also check comments on quora.

If you want to do finance or investment, confirm if d school is accredited by either EQUIS, AACSB, CFA or AMBA. University of Hull is ranked 601 - 800 by times higher, their financial management is accredited by AACSB, CFA and AMBA while University of Dundee ranked 201- 250 and Swansea ranked 251-300 is not accredited by any of these international bodies. Lagos Business School is accredited by AACSB and AMBA, why not schools in UK.

Wanted to go for msc financial technology, some students of some schools I chatted asked me to chill, that the course content is not rich, that the course generally in UK is being developed. They advised I rather do online courses.

U can't have better experience than someone that has gone through it. If students that hv ed through the course is saying chill, till the course is improved, think I will listen to them, moreover, I have 10 years experience in finance and risk, so I am familiar with the terrain.

Yes, fintech as a course is evolving but some schools are already positioning themselves as leaders. In some schools in US, u will not gain ission to msc in fintech if you don't have programming skills and some have well suited lab,dedicated solely for fintechs. A student I engaged told me specially that, the course content they did on crypto currency is what can be easily ed online. I have checked Salford,it is more of theories and paper writing, u can't even compare it to Imperial.

Most of the lecturers that will teach you have finance and ing background, they braced themselves up by upgrading themselves in financial technology courses through online courses. Trust me, by the time you avail yourself on online courses on crypto, python, block chain technology etc, you might jettison the plan of doing msc in financial technology. All d best.

Why not renew in Nigeria if you have time?. You can do 64 ogs for 10years. It takes less than a month or thereabout. The process is more difficult in Uk.

Well, I understand. But I think having a ban a decade ago does not necessarily translate to a a life ban where you are not able to travel again for the rest of your life, and that's why a time frame is always attached to it, eg 2yr, 5yr, 10yr ban etc.
Even if one has erred previously there should a way to forgive having repented.
Everyone who has witness a ban like this would always exhibit this kind of anxiety I am showing, it is human but all the same, one works with faith in God a lot of times

Concealing a ban can lead to another ban because that could be deemed misrepresentation especially when there are sections that specifically ask those questions.

About the outcome it could be either way, there are lots of people that got a visa after a ban but the first thing they did was to be truthful.

That's the point she is trying to make and I hope you make the right decision

Thanks for your response. Quite sincerely, I am not kicking against her opinion at all!!! Why would I ? I was only thinking and a little worried that having such kind of history shouldn't be a full stop to travelling. Also, I intend and insist to be truthful about it. My prayer is that everything comes successful eventually.

Nope. As long as you pay online and book a date for capturing, no mago mago. You go to London and capture on your appointed day and then drop off a postal envelope for them to send back to you… within 5 working days your ppt gets back to you.
Very straightforward nowadays as long as you have NIN.
Con- Nigerians are many oo, might have to wait the whole day to get captured if the number scheduled for your day are a lot. Also factor in coming from outside London.
Also it costs about 136 usd for 5yrs 32 pages so dnt come and be doing naira to usd conversion.
NIN is free in Nigeria at best you part with money on your own volition, in the UK it is 40 pounds. So get your NIN in Nigeria before boarding plane to leave. Everything else no mago mago, straight forward process.

Hi, the website says they give for a cGPA of 3.8 and above. There are two ways to clarify if a cGPA of 3.7 will be considered
1. Email the school with, you can email their international issions team email address
2. Either call their number yourself or get someone in the UK to call for you and enquire. Best or luck

I would say - ALWAYS ALWAYS declare any bans on your application even if they are expired.

They prefer for you to be honest. If you don’t include it and it comes up in their assessment of your case, they’ll regard it as you attempting to misrepresent yourself for a favourable outcome.

The same happened to my husband in 2018 - they said he didn’t address the ban and they refused him.

So in his spouse visa application this year we outlined all his refusals and his ban in his application- we then wrote a separate statement to address the ban and apologise for wasting UKVI resources and time - we explained that it was out of ignorance and assured them it would never happen again and that he has changed.

His spouse Visa application was approved yesterday.

It pays to be honest.
