Getting a south africa visa is not difficult..the embassy offers 3 month visa,2- 3 weeks duration for processing,requirement 4 sa visa includes yellow cards,statement of ,valid international port,2 port photography,company's letter head(optional),invitation letter(optional),ticket itineary,and hotel reservation..4 more info and update u guys in addition getting a visa @ lagos embassy is difficult unlike abuja embassy..the duratin in lagos embassy takes time up to a month..

Visa Expenses which include; visa fee, hotel booking and some other miscellanous. Quote me wrong if you think it's more than 60k and pls don't misunderstand my point.

My cousin went for coolection yesterday at VFS office Ikoyi and was told his port has been returned back to the Embassy. What does this implies? Visa or no visa?

@ all, I already got my Transcript from my university but what i have is the student's copy. On the transcript is a stamp stating STUDENT COPY, NOT FOR OFFICIAL USE. It is not addressed to any organisation or school. Will it be accepted by SAQA for evaluation? Ur kind and quick response will be appreciated.

I have just been itted for a Masters degree in UCT. I would like to know what I really need to present at the VFS office in order to apply for a Study Permit and what the financial implications may be.Though I have gone through the VFS website, I realise that there may be some requirement which may alo be necessary but may not be expressly stated there. Is the letter of ission from the school required because what I have is the offer letter sent by email to me by the Institution. If the letter of ission is sent to me via email, can it be used for this pupose.

VFS is just an Application and Collection centre, ready visas are returned to the Embassy 6 days( or so) after collection date.

Visa or No visa if ready it will be returned to the embassy after 30 days of notice of collections without collecting it at the vfs ... so it doesn't mean that it is stamped visa that it has to be returned to the embassy....there could be visa on it and there could be refusal as well ...

Yours may not be acceptable though SAQA accept photocopy made from the original copy but yours is not official and it does not carry official stamp of your school, even if you send the original copy, SAQA will from your school/MOE for the authencity of such transcript/certificate.

If your school only send ission offers via email then you are good to go but if not then you need to request for the hard copy to be sent too your address

Requirement for South African Study Permit
Your port which must be valid for at least 30 days
Your permit fee
Proof of financial means of pay your tuition and your studies (Bank Statement)
Proof of medical or insurance cover ed and recognised by South African Govt
Repatriation fee except sponsored by south african body or South African citizen or study less than 1yr
Police clearance is required if you are older than 18

Evidence of payment for conditional offer

I applied for a tourist Visa which I submitted my Visa application 1st week Φƒ march and I am yet to receive a notice from VFS if my port is ready for collection or not. What I used to do is tracking it online to knw d outcome. What I get each time I track it is " Still under accessment at d South africa High commission"

Can somebody tell me what might have been going on with my application? Besides, I filled my application that I would be travelling in April which has ed already.

Sure, this can't be done in other countries.
