Original and 2 copies. For CV, motivation letter and ission letter and anything else you're printing you need just 2 copies. Also, print your appointment mail. One copy will do.

My simple advice for those going for interview soon should pls the students visa interview checklist from the German visa site and follow it by getting all the documents stated there.

No you don't need to authenticate just photocopy.
