Revert to thermostat, replace coolant if you've been using water.

Good evening to the gurus in the house. Please I need your urgent expertise advice. I drive a Honda pilot 2004 and just on Thursday, I had an issue. The car just refused to climb a small hill. Had to restart the car before it could perform. And since then, the car will disengaged from gear until I restart it and this will only last for max 2minutes before it will disengage again. I tried scanning it and error P0723 was cleared but the issue still persist. I just changed the gear like 6 months ago. Pls help !

If I change the gear to neutral, the vibration stops.

If I remove my leg from the break and the vehicle moves freely, there is no vibration. Everything becomes normal.

your own case is different oooo...

first of, check your tire alignments

go for wheel balancing

make sure all your tires are gauged to the correct pressure

if none of the above works... then check your brakes (especially the ones behind) and brake disc for damage.

You parked a functional vehicle for 10 months and the AC was not working when you came back ( a leak), refilled and all vents were not as cold as should be and became warm next day (a leak) At this point find leak. 3 possibilities .

Compressor shaft seal ( can be checked manually without any equipment)

Pipes ( visual inspection can be used and soap suds)

Evaporator unit. ( You can actually smell refrigerant in the cabin if leak is that fast)

Standard I would use a vacuum machine and my digital pressure gauge to find the leak very easily, but not every one has fancy equipment.

I do not think your compressor is bad. Find the leak, fix, oil the compressor , replace the O rings, ts, vacuum and recharge properly (0.7-0.8kg of refrigerant)

He recommended ND 11 oil for it , he told me those guys used cheap harsh gas for me , he said I'm lucky it would have cost me my compressor cos the compressor uses sensor , he asked if I perceived any gaseous smell when I on the AC ,I said no , he said my evaporator is good ,he told me my seals are one also the condenser bolt are broken , probably from the first guys that checked it out , they broke it and left it like that for me , he said I will change the condenser , I was like protesting , thinking it was another antics, he gave in and tried filling the gas, I was told to on my car Ac , when I on the AC there was little blast like sound , I thought a hose blasted, it was the condenser , he removed it and he performed a test told me to keep my finger close to one of the two holes , if he blows in air into one hole and it come out of the other , then it's good .. he did and no air came out.. he recommended I buy a new condenser , I bought a condenser and we did the test and air came out .. he fixed it , also fixed the seal and recharged the gas , the car is mortuary standard now ... He told me the other guys wanted to play games with me , they would have ripped me off without getting any solution.. he said it was just oil , good refrigerant and condenser was the problem

Good report. But ya condenser just needed a dryer Filter .

I will still recommended you look for a shop with a vacuum machine so you can repeat the recharge process .

I'm not a technician but I've had a problem with my AC before and it sounds similar to mine.

If the compressor still engages the engine when you put on the AC, then the problem may not come from there but the Evaporator. Ask the technician to remove the Evaporator and take it for test to see if it still works.

Usually, they'd deep the Evaporator inside clean water with the nozzles outside and then pump air into it while blocking the other side. If you see bubbles coming out from the water, then the Evaporator is bad, else it's working fine.

The Evaporator is located under the dashboard so the whole of that steering area would have to be dropped.

If you wish to try this option, please work with a highly competent technician and be around to monitor the process.

Seek second opinion from another ac tech. Those sellers don't give guarantee on automatic compressor due to some reasons best known to them.

Please how long should I use the Mobil 1 full synthetic 5w30 oil on my 2010 Venza, its been 4890 miles since my last oil change in September 2021. Some oil sellers and mechanics say I should change it at 5000miles or the engine might knock.

On the gallon it says it can stay 15000 miles. I don't know who to believe, this oil is very expensive. Please advice

Power - Camry (relatively more fun to drive).
Durability - I will give it to the corolla because the camry's 2az has a factory piston ring defect (burning oil).

Dear Gazzuzz and other esteemeed motorheads.

The scan results in the attached screenshot are from a 2004 Mitsubishi Montero that runs somewhat rough at idle. Kindly recommend how I should proceed with the fixes? It has the 3.8L V6 engine.

Also, can your spacer technology make a difference in this situation, sir Gazzuzz?

I lost the gallon, but I it's written on it that it can protect the engine for upto 15k to 20k miles. I bought it for 28k in September last year and now even more expensive.
