I felt sorry for him my phone gives me 6hrs of screen time on heavy usage.. it temperature is normal .. design has always been classic. Display is still very cool .. even survived a little water accident 2 days ago

Every battery endurance test I have seen on YouTube returned at least 9hrs Screen on time but real life s complain they get maximum of 5hrs.

Supposed s on forums and YouTube comment sections. I personally know one person who used the eynox version note 10 plus, the battery was not the highlight for him about the phone, but all battery drain test online showed the screen on time to be at least 12 hrs.

I will rather use Nokia touch light than Exynos. The washed out pictures and lack of power crippled that note 10 plus a friend owned.
If I can get up to 9hrs like I am getting on the s10 model I will be fine.

Honestly Note 10's 3500 mAh battery isn't going to get you Great battery in 2021 especially if you're not buying the phone new. it should have similar battery to S10.

well that's not a normal usage. I doubt you'd get 5 hours in a typical day usage with mobile data on

I prefer using phones on night mode. It's normal to me. I never switch off my Wi-Fi, I don't play games, just social media, email, YouTube and Chrome.

That s10 is a well built phone. A great piece of technology by Samsung, I heard they made it specially for their anniversary.

hello I just bought the usa Samsung note 10+ SM-N970U

Its been smooth but it seem it can't be upgraded past android 9 It came with?

Any method I can do that manually?

Although i don't mind using it as it is BC it's really smart and slick and it's the Snapdragon version

You can do the upgrade yourself. Or you can ask someone to help you. Look for Lumide333 or so here on Nairaland. He is at Ikeja. Upgrading your software is 5k max.

lol... I bought screen protector for my note 20 ultra and after 1 week of using it, I removed it myself.. The screen protector worth of 8k because it consists of both UV liquid and solid glass ... But because of the curve, all the sides are either looking dirty or showing some reflections which I don't like... I ended up removing it and ever since then, I've been enjoying my phone with no issues.. But I'm more protective than ever because the screen is over expensive.. So I always handled it with so much care... So having screen guard is good but not for everyone... And not for every phones actually because all dis curve phones screen guard are not really perfect on the curve screen.

If there is 4g in your area, then check mobile networks under settings and select lte/3g auto connect

I for advise you not to do it yourself. Give it to someone to do it for you.

The process can be time consuming and frustrating.

You need to following.

Odin. (Latest version)
Samsung drivers
The firmware you want to install.

Find those three and use YouTube. You'll be able to do it by yourself.

By the way, firmware is a bit tricky to find. And it will take like 4GB of data to . And you may have to do it multiple times till you find the correct one.

Check sammobile for firmwares. Ridiculously slow speed unless you with them.

In Frija, type in your phone model number and CSC
you said your phone is model SM-N975U( which is definitely a Verizon or sprint, etc phone

type SM-N975U1 instead (so it will a US unlocked firmware (U1). this is very important

in the CSC box type XAA

it will find the latest US unlocked firmware, should be around 4GB. after completes unzip the file


after that Patched Odin(very important) https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/patched-odin-3-13-1.3762572/

Use the Patched Odin to load the files you just unzipped.
1. BL will have BL file name
2. AP will have AP in file name
3. will have in file name
4. CSC will have CSC, **will wipe data!**
1. If you don't want to wipe data, use HOME\_CSC file
5. Click options on left side, make sure re-partition is not clicked
7. Put Note in mode
1. Turn phone off
2. Hold Vol up + down and
3. Hold power
4. Enter Bootloader using volume key and power button to hit enter
8. Connect phone to computer and you should see it as a COM in the upper left box in Odin
9. Click Start
10. Phone Should be updated after it's all done
