You could tell the engineer to disconnect the battery and resit it properly.

And then reboot the phone

know two persons with Redmi 9t , that this happens to , call them and it says it's switched of or unreachable , and they say their phones were on , so it's not unique to you.

I when I argued with a friend who said my MTN line is always switched off, he then called me and it said that my number is switched off while I was holding my phone in my hands (switched on with full network bars on my MTN line)... I'm still yet to know the actual cause.

I never do that... my MTN is mostly set to 2G/3G sef, it's either it's a Redmi issue or an MTN issue.
