I cut off unnecessary expenses, impulse buying, and most importantly stay indoors (I've been staying indoors for some time now so not a new thing to me).

Mudu of Rice is now about #520 in the village markets.
New maize and Corn is now #250 and #290 respectively.
Fives average sized tubers of Yam that used to be #3,500 is now about #2,000. But a kilo of cow meat is still is till high and btw #1,800-#2000 in most Northern cities.

The first thing I do when I receive salary is to draw up a list of the things I don't have in the house and shop for them first especially foodstuffs because the worst thing that would happen to you is if you're hungry in this kind if economic situation

Then I avoid some unnecessary things that would make me spend like going out often

I try not to carry a lot if cash around so as not to fall into the temptation of unnecessary expenses

Finally, as a single guy, I avoid slay mamas for unnecessary billing or if I can't, I'll just say things to get them upset and not apologising so that the drama will last long
