Go there in the morning, the line for complaints. When you get in, explain to the people in there and they'll give you a closer date IF it's a student visa you want to apply for.

TLS is where you "do your visa application", its where you do interviews if you have any, its basically the uk immigration representative in Nigeria. your visa bookings is in TLS. if you have to go anywhere for your UK Visa, TLS is most likely the place you have to go to.

TLS also attend to appointment booked online but I just want to confirm if the walk in is actually possible like if someone can go to either Ikeja or VI without appointment and he will get it done ?

it depends on the school. Some will issue while some won’t show you.

Can't I do my visa application myself my documents and just do the walk-in at TLS for my biometrics.

Since you have visas and genuine stamps on the ports, scan and them if you're using the self mode on TLS website, otherwise, those guys at the TLS office will not allow you to submit your old port during biometric.
I experienced this at the VI office.
The lady said she can only allow me if I choose assisted service.

You are wrong TLS is where biometric is done, you most book a day before going for work in. Note people that go for walk-in are the once that have a date that is far and the need a closer date

They won't take your old port from you.
No need anyway, because a) the UK student visa is points-based so travel history is not a factor (except where it is adverse of course), and b) you will fill out your travel history in the form, so there's no need for the physical port and visas.

I completely forgot to evidence of my previous travels. The visas and stamps. I just hope they overlook that mistake.

I don't know about that...you can get a dollar card from your bank. Buy dollar from black market to fund it .

Application transferred to VAC: 30th of July

Collection email: 30th of July with visa sitting pretty on my port

Declared: previous USA study visa denial , and schengen visit visa approved

I'm really lost for words. I have followed almost all the study threads on this nairaland, I tried German study route but I was denied ission, same with Canada, Even Unilag denied me ission... Eventually when I got over 4 offers from schools in USA, Trump's visa people dashed my hopes. Already gave up studying abroad then this UK 2 years post study came up and I decided to give it a try.

No need anyway, because a) the UK student visa is points-based so travel history is not a factor (except where it is adverse of course), and b) you will fill out your travel history in the form, so there's no need for the physical port and visas.

There is this general belief that travel history is not taken into consideration when eco’s considers an application, this ain’t entirely correct. It’s part of their brief and guideline, it is considered and more so if you have a clause on your travel history.
