Please do they accept scanned copies of birth cert and LG of origin cert. before the process of capturing ? I'm a corp member far from home and those documents are at home though I have the scanned copies.

It was just capturing in my centre.
Correct the Date of Birth on NIN before proceeding. Or you use same date of birth on your NIN profile for processing the port.

DIY would have been great if you don't need it urgently because collection date maybe farther away or closer. Go the Express route but be careful of all those Agents.

Sometimes NIS might need to sight the original. It depends!

You guys should go to warri office! not up to 20 people waiting for capture every day and your port is ready in 3 weeks or less after capture. ��

I captured yesterday in Lagos. The officer told me to check back on Friday for collection. I was surprised! Cos i thought it takes 6weeks.

I also captured on Monday 19th of June at alausa.
The guy at the servicom desk said they will send a text when the port is ready.

I tried to respond and its not going through

Yes. When I did mine at NIS HQ Abuja, they didn't ask for any original.

Please it has been 2 weeks I submitted my port renewal forms at Alausa Ikeja and have not gotten any sms to tell me to come for capturing.

I have gone back there and was told to go back home and be expecting sms that does not seem to be coming.

Does anyone have any there that can help fast track the process as I need it urgently.

is this your first port? i do not know if it is amenable.
U can try. When you get to the office for verification, one officer will sit with computer and ask u to confirm the details on the screen one by one, you can try to flag it there and then before they send you for capturing that the details are wrong. That you want it chnaged. No harm in tryin
If this does not work, try to do another port payment urself and pay yourself while u fill in the right information.
Try the first option first, if they are not able to change it pls dnt proceed to capturing as that is what will be on ur prt if u go ahead.

Not possible if going the shortcut route. As the least they consider is 50k with enough appeal!!

if there's no solution please forfeit the payment and do another one, so that the port won't be useless for you and you wouldn't have to go through stress of changing details later. I'm talking from experience

Every of my credential have same date except NIN(year of birth). Please how do I make the correction and what's the cost?
