I took the trailhead at salesforce. There's a trail mix for the platform Developer one but that resource isn't enough to the exam at all. I bought courses at focus on force. I also got some Udemy courses around 5 different salesforce Udemy questions and I practiced around in the developer org like mad even creating my own salesforce app. With all I did it took me two tries to the exam.
