Hello Everyone!!!

I updated my A9 Pro to Android 11 on Tuesday (2 days ago).

Now, Location keeps turning on automatically.

If I put it off now, it will still turn back on later.

Any idea what is wrong and how I can prevent this?

Update: I have figured out the issue.

Google has a permission under advanced that allows it to modify phone settings.

So, it automatically turns on location, so as to access my current location at different intervals.

Turning off the permission to modify phone settings fix the issue.

Am thinking of replacing my own fingerprint flex too probably it might work too...The Power,Lock and Unlock press still works dou, only d fingerprint which has even disappeared from ma fone settings, i ve flashed d fone 2ce with ROM from Umidigi Community..ko work... it's time i leave d software issue behind nd go for hardware replacement

i suggest you give it a trial. I have always thought mine was software too.

It stops after awhile I think. I've not experienced it in almost 3months now.

Same here. Mine does that at every interval. I even thought my phone has malware but as it stand, we're in it together. I'm thinking of flashing a custom ROM though I'm yet to see anyone who can do that.

It's been awhile I did custom roms on MTK devices, but YouTube is there to help you, but go thru the tutorials as stated in the link below and you can the poster for help, if he's available I believe he can help but the tutorial is pretty straight forward. It's for A5 pro but it can work for any device, juts find the right roms to work with.

Go through settings to delete duplicate s, while for single options you have to delete manually, same way u added manually....
